Pembrey Country Park has a special area by the central
facilities created at the top of the beach for wheelchair users. The
beach is accessed by a concrete track with a 30 foot concrete jetty built
out onto the beach. Disabled loos are close to the jetty.

Broad Haven is an open,
west-facing bay, with a large sandy beach. There’s a large National Park car
park at the north end of the village and a smaller car park at the south
end, both paying. The beach has three slipways which allow easy access.

Freshwater West Beach

Freshwater West is one of
Pembrokeshire’s wilder beaches. It’s an impressive sweep of golden sand with
a pebble bank, backed by dunes. There are a number of car parks along the
length of the beach, and easy access via a gentle ramp opposite the
southernmost car park.

access to the beach at both ends, with ample car parking. |
Little Haven Beach

There’s a National Park paying car
park in Little Haven. The slipway for boats also offers easy access to the
sand, but this must not be obstructed as it’s used by the lifeboat. A small
sandy cove with pebbles above the high tide line, backed by a picturesque
fishing village.

Manorbier Beach

Manorbier is a popular sandy beach
with a pebble bank at the high tide line, and superb rock-pools for children
to explore. There is a National Park pay and display car park above the
beach, and limited roadside parking north of the beach. There’s a
wheelchair-accessible path from the car park to the top of the beach.

This popular beach on the north
side of the Nevern estuary boasts a large expanse of golden sand, backed by
dunes and a golf course.
There’s easy
access down a gentle concrete ramp on to hard sand. At low tide you can
drive on to the sands. |
