This beach has several ramp access points and
beach wheelchairs are available from the life guard office on the promenade
and can be reserved with prior notice. Last season I believe they did not
charge a fee as the wheelchair user left their own wheelchairs as a deposit. |

Several of the beaches in Great Yarmouth have ramped
access which is quite steep. This is a lively resort with many facilities.
Five beach wheelchairs are
available from the Tourism Information Centre (25 Marine Parade, tel 01493
846345). The chairs are available free of charge, a small refundable deposit
is required

The beach is sand with ramped access
to one side in front of the lifeboat house with a few shallow pools when the
tide has gone out.
