Central Parade by the clock tower, good access available
to the beach. There are also other areas along the coast with good access
because there is a sea wall running along the coast northwards from
Winthorpe right the way to Mablethorpe which has many ramped areas onto the
wall from car parks and then onto the beach, notably at Winthorp, Ingoldmels
Point and Sutton on Sea.

Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes National Nature Reserve
Salt Fleet

The nature reserve stretches for five miles along the
Lincolnshire coast. It can be accessed between Saltfleet and Mablethorpe.
There is an easy access trail providing wheelchair access to the nature
reserve from Rimac car park. The track straight on from the car park takes
you to the saltmarsh viewing platform (500 metres) or you can turn right
onto the figure of eight trail (850 metres) to visit the ponds and
freshwater marsh. |
